Dianne was born in Park Street, Peterborough, 1 of 6 children born to Harold and Elsie Dunnell. Most of her teenage years she grew up in Dogsthorpe, attending John Mansfield School. She met Martin Browett and they married on 25th January 1969 and settled to married life in Westwood. Their first child was 6th June 1970, a boy named Simon. On 24th March 1972 a daughter was born named Lisa. Dianne spent most of her childrens growing up years looking after them whilst Martin worked away. In 1988, Dianne & Martin seperated. She gained her independance through working at Edith Cavell hospital for 17rs from 1988 till 2005 Her children grew into fine adults that she was very proud of and loved so much. In turn, giving her 5 grandchildren. In 2006, Dianne was admitted into hospital where she spent 6 months recovering from major surgery due to Diverticular Disease. 14 months later she was re-admitted where she spent 18 months in Peterborough Hospital and University College Hospital in London. Sadly in February, the illness took its toll and Dianne could fight no more. You see, Dianne was a fighter, born a fighter, died a fighter. On 12th February 2009 at 17.30pm Dianne, our beloved Mum left us to start her journey. She loved life and life loved her. We all loved Dianne very much, she is dreadfully missed by all especially her son & daughter Simon & Lisa........We love you Mum, Always and Always will, never ever will be forgotton xxx
